Logging in
Go to your Adaptive Authoring URL (typically https://poet.confirm.com/). On the Welcome to Adaptive Authoring screen:
- Log in with your Hub ID — use single sign-on (the recommended sign-in method). You'll be taken to a Confirm sign-in page, where you enter your credentials, and then returned to the app.
- Or use your username and password — if your account is set up for direct sign-in, enter them here.
If you've forgotten your password, click Forgot Password? below the fields and follow the prompts (you'll need access to the email associated with your account).
Adaptive Authoring relies on modern browser features, so legacy browsers (e.g. Internet Explorer) are not supported. If you're also an I.Q. customer, your login details are the same as your I.Q. login.
The dashboard
After logging in you'll land on your dashboard, which opens with a personalized greeting ("Good afternoon, …") and lists your courses.
Across the top, status tiles summarise your pipeline
- In Progress — courses you're currently authoring.
- Translating — courses in translation.
- Translations Complete — translations done, waiting for post-translation edits.
- Post-Translations Edit — making final edits before publishing.
- Published — live courses.
Your course list shows: course name (with ID and origin, e.g. Templates, OtsLibrary, UploadScript), stage badge, last modified date, and Active Users (avatars of people currently in that course).

Organise with Folders — group courses by client, team, or project using the Folders dropdown.
To start editing, click a course's name.
Quick navigation: Search & the command palette
You can jump anywhere instantly with the command palette:
- Click "Looking for something?" in the top bar, or
- Press ⌘K (Mac) / Ctrl-K (Windows).
From the palette you can:
- Search for courses and content.
- Jump to Navigation destinations (e.g. the dashboard, Media Library, settings).
- Run Actions — for example, Create New Course, Toggle Dark Mode, Logout.
- Open Settings.
Start typing to filter; use arrow keys and Enter to select.
