Editing content
Open a course from the dashboard to enter the editor. Navigate with the structure tree on the left; edit in the pane on the right using the Content, Assets and Page Settings tabs.
On the Content tab, click any field to edit it in place. Long-form fields (e.g. Course Material Body) offer full rich-text formatting from a toolbar attached to the top of the field.
Images
Add, swap, and crop images with the image editor (on the Content or Assets tab). Use images your organization owns or has licensed—check with your design/legal team about copyright.
Audio and video
Use the media control and choose Replace. Add video by uploading an MP4 or entering a valid URL. (See Adding videos.)
Need to change this gif
Please note that Adaptive Content Authoring does not accept videos with a file size over 25 MB. We recommend a video of 15 MB or less to help ensure a reasonably sized course package and a smooth user experience for learners.
Moving content
Reorder most pages by dragging in the structure tree.
Note that activities and topics are randomized by default, so reordering them may not change the order learners see.
Deleting pages
Select the category, topic, activity, or slide in the tree and use Delete.
Be aware: Deletions can't be undone—to recover you'd have to recreate the content, use a previous version (see versioning), or import an older script, which risks losing recent edits.
Saving
Editing autosaves: a Save control also appears at the top right of the pane. Use Preview Course (top bar) to see the learner experience and Publish when ready.
Note: The legacy Simple Edit / Full Edit modes and the Display Mode dropdown no longer exist—editing is unified through the tree and tabs.
