Choose + Create New Course → Quick Start → Templates and pick a ready-made skeleton.
The templates
- Small Adaptive — 3 categories × 12 topics, any order, randomised, 4 activities per topic (2 Difficult + 2 Normal).
- Large Adaptive — 5 categories × 20 topics.
- Small Fixed Order — 3 × 12, presented in order, 2 activities per topic alternating.
- Large Fixed Order — 5 × 20.
Fixed order or adaptive?
An adaptive template will change the difficulty level and the content that a learner sees as they move through it. Here's an outline of how an adaptive course works:
Sometimes, however, everyone needs to see the same information in the same order. If that's the case for you, pick a fixed-order template.
Small or large?
Start from a small template for up to 12 learning objectives;
a large templates support up to 20.
