The Off-The-Shelf Access tool gives Adaptive editors direct access to the off-the-shelf library so you can start editing an OTS course right away.
How to use the tool
1. Click the +Create New Course button.

The Off-The-Shelf Access tool gives Adaptive editors direct access to the off-the-shelf library so you can start editing an OTS course right away.
Click + Create New Course, then under More Options choose OTS Library.
- Use the wizard to select a course, choose translations, and set customization options.
Confirm your selections and click Continue
- Click Back to Course List to return to the dashboard
, or Create Another Course to make another selection.
- To start editing, open your new course from the dashboard. On first open, answer the question in the pop-up:
Yes → Send Request: you can start editing immediately, and our internal teams are notified to confirm your requirements and lift the translation/publishing restriction.
No / I'm not sure → OK, got it!: you can still start editing immediately, but translation and publishing stay restricted until you submit a request for approval (you'll be prompted again whenever you try to translate or publish).
