These settings control how a learner moves through your course—and two of them control whether they can move through it without finishing it. If your course carries a compliance obligation, read the first section before you change anything.

The two settings in the learner experience that affect compliance
Fast Track Progression
Lets learners select Continue to move forward before they have finished all the content on the page.
With this on, a learner can reach the end of a course without viewing everything in it. That may be exactly what you want for refresher content aimed at experienced staff. It is almost certainly not what you want for mandatory training that has to evidence full completion.
Leave it off unless you have a reason, and record that reason. If your organization is audited on completion, whoever signs off on the course should know this setting's state.
Turn Off Required Duration After
Sets the point after which a required minimum time on a page stops being enforced.
Required duration keeps a learner on a page for a set period before they can continue. This setting ends that enforcement—after the number you give here, the requirement no longer applies.
Is the value in seconds or minutes, and does it count from the start of the course, the start of the page, or the learner's total time? The label alone does not say, and the answer changes how the setting should be described.]
Together these two decide whether "completed" in your reporting means "saw everything" or "clicked through". Nothing else on this screen matters as much.
Moving through the course
Lock Topic Order—forces learners to take topics in the order you set, rather than choosing their own route. Turn this on where sequence matters—where a later topic assumes an earlier one.
Disable Go Back Button—stops learners returning to previous pages. Sometimes required for assessments; frustrating everywhere else.
Progress Bar—turn the bar on or off and set its placement. See Progress Bar for the detail.
Miscellaneous
Disable Acknowledge Checkbox and Acknowledge Button—control the acknowledgement controls a learner uses to confirm they have read something. If your course carries a policy acknowledgement, see Course Material and policy acknowledgement, which is where the acknowledgement itself is configured.
Display Subtitles Below Video—shows subtitles beneath the video rather than over it.
Open External Links in New Window—keeps the course open when a learner follows a link out. Usually on; a link that replaces the course loses the learner's place.
Hide English from Language Selection—removes English from the language picker. Use when a course has been translated and the English source should not be offered.
Expected Time Spent per Category—the time you expect a learner to spend in each category. whether this is displayed to the learner, used in reporting, or both.]

Enhanced Accessibility is configured from the Accessibility panel on this screen. It is off by default and has three documented effects on animation and focus behavior.
