See how your team is doing with its required training: who is up to date, who has something coming due, and who is overdue. This is the view to manage your team's readiness from, and the starting point for sending someone a reminder.
Before you start
Everything in this article happens in the Learn:Go app your team already uses. You do not need administrator access.
Team Management appears for you only if at least one person reports to you. The administrator role alone does not show it. An administrator with nobody reporting to them does not see the tab.
Your team is set up by your organisation's administrator. You cannot add or remove team members yourself, so if someone is missing, or someone who has left is still listed, ask your administrator to change it.
Open Team Management
- On a phone or tablet, select Team Management in the tab bar at the bottom of the screen.
- In a browser on a computer, select Team Management in the navigation on the left.
You arrive on the Overview tab, which shows your team's readiness. To approve or reject requests from your team, select the Requests tab.
On a computer the top of the screen shows three figures for your whole team:
| Figure | What it counts |
|---|---|
| "Required training complete" | The share of your team who have completed all their required training, with every completion still valid. |
| "Members overdue" | How many people have at least one required course past its due date and not complete. |
| "Members due soon" | How many people have a required course due within the next 15 days and nothing overdue. |
Each is coloured as a quick health signal.
| Figure | Green | Amber | Red |
|---|---|---|---|
| "Required training complete" | 90% or more | 50% to 89% | Below 50% |
| "Members overdue" | 0 | Above 0 and below half of your team | Half of your team or more |
| "Members due soon" | 0 | Above 0 and below half of your team | Half of your team or more |
On a phone, the same overall percentage appears as a small coloured pill next to the "My Team Readiness" heading instead. The pill on a phone follows the same rule as "Required training complete".
Note
These three figures always describe your entire team. They do not change when you filter, search or move between pages.
Understand the readiness figures
Readiness counts required training only. Optional learning your team takes never affects it.
A team member shows as:
- overdue, when at least one required course is past its due date and not complete
- due soon, when nothing is overdue and at least one incomplete required course is due within the next 15 days
- on track, when no required course is overdue or due soon
The percentage against each person is the share of their required courses that are complete and still valid. Someone with no required training shows as 100%.
The 15 day window is fixed and cannot be changed for your organisation.
Note
A team member's own home screen shows a required training card, which turns amber with "Due today" or "Due in <number> days" only when the nearest deadline is within the next 3 days. When the nearest deadline is further away, the card shows "On-Track" with the date of that deadline. Someone can show as due soon here while their home screen still shows "On-Track". The Team Management figures are the ones to manage by.
Find someone in your team
Three controls narrow the list, and they work together.
- Select a chip to filter: All, Needs attention for people with a required course overdue or due soon, or On-Track for people with none.
- Search by name, email address or job role.
- Move through pages using the controls below the list. Each page holds 10 people.
The count on each chip is a whole-team figure, so it stays the same whichever chip you select. On a computer the Search box sits beside the chips; on a phone, Search user is docked at the bottom of the screen.
Changing a filter, a search or a sort takes you back to the first page.
On a computer, select any column heading to sort by it. Sorting covers your whole team, not only the page you are looking at. The columns are Name, Status, Overdue, Due soon and Courses left, where Courses left reads as a fraction such as 3/5, meaning required courses complete out of required courses assigned.
On a phone the list is in name order and there is no sorting. Each person shows their readiness percentage, then an amber tag such as "2 Due soon" for courses due soon and a red tag such as "1 Overdue" for overdue courses, with both tags if both apply. A person with nothing overdue or due soon shows a green "On-Track" tag.
Select a person's row to open their profile.
To send a reminder to someone with a required course overdue or due soon, see Nudge a team member, which also covers the message that you see and the member profile.
Find out why the list is empty
The message tells you why the list is empty.
| Message | What it means |
|---|---|
| "No team members assigned yet" | Nobody is assigned to you yet. Your administrator assigns your team. |
| "All caught up!" | You have Needs attention selected and nobody needs attention. |
| "No members on track yet" | You have On-Track selected and nobody qualifies yet. When someone needs attention, See who needs attention appears; select it to switch. |
| "No results for <your search>" | Nothing matched. Check the spelling, or search by name or job role, then select Clear search. |
Troubleshooting
If the screen does not load, drag the screen down in the mobile app and release to refresh. This reloads the figures and the list together. In a browser, reload the page.
If your team cannot be loaded you see "Failed to load team data" with a control to try again.
