Today marks a big step forward for assessments and verifying learner understanding in Create! We’re launching powerful new tools to move beyond static quizzes, help learners retain key concepts, and ensure critical media is actually watched.
What’s included:
Summative Testing: Question Banks Component Build dynamic, cheat-resistant assessments that draw random questions from a master pool or balance questions across specific syllabus topics. Learners get unique tests on retries, and you can set smart rules like retaking only incorrect questions.
Adaptive Practice: Mastery Component Replace high-stakes pass/fail tests with continuous, guided learning. The Mastery component serves questions one by one with immediate feedback until the learner demonstrates true understanding, eliminating guesswork and simple memorization.
Text Input: Typed Answers & Surveys Move past multiple-choice with short-answer and reflection components. Use Typed Answers for automatically scored open-ended text with flexible keyword matching, or Survey to capture up to 5,000 characters of written learner reflections. (Responses tracked via xAPI)
Media Completion: Lock Fast-Forwarding Ensure learners absorb essential compliance video and audio before moving on. Locking playback prevents scrubbing ahead while still letting learners rewind to review, and can be applied to individual media clips or entire courses.
