Older pages are in a legacy format. To edit them with the full Flex toolset you upgrade them — one at a time, or in bulk.
Upgrading one slide
- Open the page.
- Select Upgrade to Flex.
- Confirm.
The page becomes a Flex slide and Open in Flex Editor appears.
Upgrading many slides at once
Go to Configuration → Flex Upgrade Tool.
It sits near the top of the Configuration list, alongside Course Info and Variables — it is not inside the Admin Panel or Learner Experience groups.
The tool lists every page in the course that can be upgraded. Select the ones you want and upgrade them together.
If the course has no legacy pages, the tool says so: "There are no pages available for the upgrade."
Title screens work differently
A title screen uses the Use Flex Layout toggle rather than the buttons above, and that toggle can be switched back off
