Title screens and Flex

A title screen is the first thing a learner sees. It can use a standard layout or be built in Flex.

Switching a title screen to Flex

Open the Title Screen page. At the top of the Content tab you will find a Use Flex Layout toggle and an Upgrade to Flex button.

Use Flex Layout turns the title screen into a Flex page. What you get depends on what you do first:

Toggle on without upgrading — a blank Flex title screen, to build from scratch

Toggle on after upgrading — your upgraded title screen is preserved

Switching the toggle back off returns the title screen to the standard layout.

Templates

Once a title screen is in Flex, open it with Edit Page Button

Select Insert Template in the toolbar to start from a ready-made layout.

Insert Template is not specific to title screens. It is in the toolbar on every Flex slide. Use it anywhere you would rather start from a layout than an empty section.

There are seven title-screen templates to choose from: Portrait Image, Center Text, Horizontal Banner, Boxed Row, Left Banner, Curved Frame, Vertical Gallery.
