Adaptive Authoring
Every organisation has its own cultural and risk landscape. Adaptive Authoring lets you edit any off-the-shelf or custom Adaptive Content course quickly, without diminishing its adaptive or behavioural intelligence. The easy-to-use, flexible interface gives you control over a course's text, images, multimedia, and even its adaptive algorithms and configurations — reducing the cost and time required to make a course your own.
Your workspace opens on the Poet dashboard, from which you can create, manage, translate, review, and publish courses. The dashboard groups courses by pipeline stage (In Progress, Translating, Translations Complete, Post-Translations Edit, Published) and includes a central Media Library for managing assets across all your courses.
The Flex Editor
The Flex Editor is a WYSIWYG editor for authoring content through an intuitive interface. It uses a system of Blocks and Sections to compose content, giving learning designers a simple yet flexible way to build course content and giving developers a way to extend the editor with additional blocks.

Section Templates
Pre-designed section layouts you can drop into a Flex Slide, accessible from a modal opened via the insert button at the top left of the Flex editor.
Any slide can be moved onto Flex using the Use Flex Layout toggle or the Upgrade to Flex button in the page editor. The Flex Upgrade Tool (in Configuration → Admin Panel) migrates legacy slides in bulk.
The Course Review Tool
The Course Review Tool brings in-app review, commenting, and approval into Poet, replacing the old export-to-Word workflow. Send a course out for feedback and sign-off while it's in a fixed, published state — so reviewers work from a single source of truth. You can invite external reviewers (people without a Poet account) by email.
