What is Real-Time Collaboration?
Real-Time Collaboration lets multiple authors work in the same project simultaneously. When you open a project, you're connected to a shared session with everyone else currently working in it, so you can see who's there and what they're doing, all without the risk of two people editing the same content and losing each other's work.
How it works
See who's in the project with you
When you open a project, you'll see indicators for everyone else currently working in it, along with notifications when someone joins or leaves. In the project navigation, pages currently being edited show a small indicator with the number of collaborators there.

Edit different content blocks at the same time
Create locks content at the individual block level rather than locking a whole page or project. When a colleague is editing a block, you'll see an overlay showing their name, and that block will be temporarily unavailable to edit until they move on. Meanwhile, you're free to work on any other block on the page, so multiple people can make progress on the same page at once without conflicts.

Projects stay protected during active editing
A project can't be deleted while someone is actively working in it.

Can two people edit the exact same content block at once?
No. Once someone selects a block to edit, it's locked for other users until they move away from it. This prevents conflicting edits to the same piece of content.
Will I lose my changes if someone else is editing the same page?
No. As long as you're working on different blocks, your changes are saved independently and pushed to everyone's view in real time.
